Kochi ranks 19 as per Income Tax collections

Business Line has a report here that also shows a list of towns with ranks according to Income Tax collections. Kochi is ranked 19th with a collection of Rs.1091 crores in the financial year 2007-'08. This was an increase of 42% from the previous year. Thiruvananthapuram is ranked 41st with a tax collection of Rs.471 crores, less than half of Kochi.

It can be said that the rank indicates business potential of that particular city. Thus it is significant to note that Kochi ranks above Lucknow, Coimbatore and Madurai.

'Apple A Day' properties is one of the real estate developers in Kerala who uses all mass media for their marketing activities. Today Hindu and Express  reported about a police raid at their offices. Reports indicate that there are many buyers who are waiting for their projects to be handed over for more than two years. Complete picture of the issue is not known. Are you a girl?

That’s my 4-year-old daughter asking me one morning. It was not a silly question. It provoked me to think deep. I was sweeping my front yard that day.
