What to do with the treasure found at Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple?

Treasure found at Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple has brought with it many challenges for us in Kerala. Recently, my relative suggested that why don't we encash this and distribute riches among all people. She would like to get a rightful share of the treasure as it belongs to all of us and what will any way God (Sree Padmanabhan) do with it. It is a separate question that why she gives some money to church every Sunday? Other serious challenges are discussed in this article by Reuters.

After reading various suggestions and options in front of us, I believe we will have to opt one of these two or a combination of these.
  1. Keep the treasure where it was found. Provide security and let everything continue as it used to be. - This seems simple but it is not easy. Security provided will prove to be a nuisance for devotees and people living nearby. They will not be allowed to do everything they have been doing all these years. People like me would want to pay a visit to the richest God and let him know my needs and wants. (In case he decides to share his wealth.) More visitors, more devotees, more security, everything will prove to be a big challenge for administrators. At last, how do we ensure that the treasure is still there at any point in time? Heists are common in even well developed countries. Is our security good enough to protect the treasure from the best robbers in the business across the world. Please mind there is apparently some undiscovered tunnels, streams and chambers. Hindu has a story on the security provided at the temple and challenges for police.
  2. Move the treasure to a building constructed to keep it secured. The building can be designed and constructed by people who are best to do this globally. There should be provisions for public to see the treasure. This can be called a museum and tourists could see it while at God's own country. - Even this is not easy. Beliefs, traditions and practices will be a challenge. It must be for a purpose that this wealth is kept at the temple where the God resides. Can the treasure be kept for public display? Who will administer the treasure, building and security of it?
Whatever be the option, it is clear that the treasure is a remnant of our history and we are bound to preserve it rather than squandering. Do we have more options? Please comment your suggestions.
